A 25-year-old man came with pain in the abdomen for three months
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen was performed. The liver is enlarged , measuring 26 cm. The spleen is enlarged, measuring 21 cm. There are multiple, peripherally enhancing, multiseptated lesions in the liver, spleen, subdiaphragmatic region, peritoneal cavity and the pelvis. Some of these lesions show enhancing membranes within. Some show hypodense lesions within the lesions, suggestive of daughter cysts. The largest lesion measures 12 x 15 x 16 cm in the right lobe of liver. These compress the common bile duct causing central and peripheral intrahepatic biliary radicle dilatation. There is mild ascites.
