A 52-year-old woman came with breathlessness and fever since one week
The frontal chest radiograph shows a homogeneous soft tissue opacity in the right middle and lower zones with few air fluid levels in the right middle zone. The right costophrenic angle and right dome of the diaphragm are obscured.
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the chest shows patchy areas of consolidation with non-enhancing necrotic areas containing air foci in the right lower lobe. There is communication with the pleural cavity resulting in loculated pleural collections with air-fluid levels.
