A 29-year-old woman came with a well-defined, painless, firm swelling over the dorsal aspect of the right hand since one year
Ultrasonography of the swelling shows a thin-walled, predominantly anechoic cyst abutting the A1 pulley at the 1st metacarpophalangeal joint. There is no vascularity in the lesion. The A1 pulley is intact. There is no tendon thickening/tenosynovitis/flexor tendon tear. There is no metacarpophalangeal joint effusion. The lesion is free from adjacent neurovascular bundles. Dynamic interrogation shows free tendon movements.
