A 13 year old girl came with back pain since six months. The parents claimed that the patient’s urine would turn black on standing. On examination there was blackish pigmentation of sclera.

Frontal and lateral radiographs of the dorso-lumbar spine show osteoporosis, narrowing of intervertebral disc spaces, subchondral sclerosis and multilevel intervertebral disc calcifications.
