Ultrasonogram of the right knee shows moderate sized anechoic to hypoechoic joint effusion predominantly in the suprapatellar recess with low level echoes indicating of hemarthrosis. Non-contrast enhanced CT scan shows hyperdense content that has settled down and overlying fluid-density content.
