A 19-year-old woman with a history of accidental intravenous mercury injection came with swelling and redness over the left cubital region.
Frontal and lateral radiographs of the left elbow show small globules of clustered, highly radiopaque metallic densities in the superficial soft tissue of the cubital fossa consistent with localized metallic (e.g., mercury) deposition. On ultrasonography, there are multiple hyperechoic foci with posterior shadowing.
