A 38 year old man came with pain in the right ankle and progressive inability to stand since one year.
Radiographs of the right ankle show complete joint disorganization, destruction of the tarsal and metatarsal bones, erosion of the distal ends and articular surfaces of the right tibia and fibula, widening of the join space with surrounding soft tissue swelling. There is periosteal reaction and with bone debris. There is vascular calcification
The MRI images confirm the radiographic findings and shows contrast enhancement in the joint capsule.
