MRI examination of the brain shows a lobulated T1 hypointense, T2 hyperintense lesion in the quadrigeminal cistern . There is partial suppression of the lesion on FLAIR. The lesion insinuates into the surrounding areas with no mass effect. The lesion shows diffusion restriction.
