A 61 year old man came with black coloured stools since two months
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen shows a dissection flap along the right lateral aspect of the SMA. The flap is approximately 4-5 cm from the SMA origin and extends for a length of 3 cm. A defect of 3.4 mm is seen in the intima. There is partial thrombosis of the false lumen with delayed opacification of the ileal branches.
