The frontal chest radiograph shows a homogeneous soft tissue opacity in the left hemithorax. It obscures the left heart border, the left hemidiaphragm and the left costophrenic angle. The descending aorta is not obscured. The heart is pushed to the right. No air bronchograms are seen. A 15 mm sized calcificarea is seen in the left mid zone. Contrast enhanced CT scan of the chest shows a well-circumscribed, loculated fat-attenuating lesion arising from the mediastinum and extending into the left hemithorax. It shows calcification and air foci. The mediastinum is pushed to the right. The overlying bones are normal.
