A 75 year old man came with hemoptysis. He was known to have pulmonary tuberculosis and was being treated with anti tuberculous medications
The frontal chest radiograph shows a thick walled cavity in the right upper zone.
There is volume loss in the right apical region; the trachea is shifted to the right. There are linear opacities and tiny calcified nodules in the upper and mid zones bilaterally.
The contrast enhanced CT scan of the chest shows a thick walled cavity in the right upper lobe with coarse calcifications in the walls. There is a soft tissue shadow within the cavity. There is a saccular area of contrast enhancement in the anteroinferior aspect of the wall
