A 28 year old man presented with a gradually increasing, painless swelling on the right cheek since birth.
There is an ill defined lesion within the right Masseter muscle. The lesion is STIR and T2 hyperintense and T1 hypointense. The T1 sequence shows hyperintensity in the superficial aspect of the lesion - likely a hematoma. The T2 image shows a few flow voids in the lesion. There is uniform, moderate post contrast enhancement.
