Axial and sagittal sections of the brain in CISS sequence shows neurovascular conflict between the left trigeminal nerve and the left superior cerebellar artery 3.5mm away from the brainstem at the root entry zone (REZ). There is atrophy of the nerve proximal to the conflict.
