Contrast-enhanced CT of the thorax shows a lobulated, wide-necked saccular aneurysm arising from the distal arch of the aorta and proximal descending thoracic aorta. It measures 12 × 7.5 × 10 cm with a neck measuring ~3 cm. Irregular wall thickening and peripheral intimal calcification are noted. An eccentric mural thrombus is seen along the anteroinferior wall of the aneurysm with areas of heterogeneous density.
