A 14 year old girl came with lower abdominal pain since one week
Coronal and sagittal reconstructions of the non-contrast CT scan of the abdomen show both kidneys to be located on the left side of the abdomen, lying adjacent to each other.
The right kidney is ectopic and crosses to the left side and is fused to the inferior pole of the normally positioned left kidney. The fused kidneys form an irregular reniform mass. The ectopic right kidney is malrotated, the pelvis is directed anteriorly. The left kidney is normally oriented.
