CT scan of the abdomen shows a well-defined, tubular, blind ending, hypodense, structure in the right iliac fossa. It extends inferiorly upto the right side of the pelvis and measures 1.8 cms in diameter. There is no communication between this structure and adjacent caecum/terminal ileal loops.
