A 44 year old man came with a swelling over the right lateral chest wall since five months
The photograph of the lesion shows a verrucoid, elevated lesion.
Ultrasonography of the right lateral chest wall and the axilla shows a small, ill-defined, heterogeneously, hypoechoic collection with internal echoes in the subcutaneous plane. A distal sinus tract is seen extending to the skin surface.
MRI of the right axilla shows an ill defined heterogeneously T2 hyperintense and T1 hypointense infiltrative soft tissue lesion measuring 7 x 2 x 6 cm in the subcutaneous and intramuscular planes in the right axilla with multiple T2 hypointense foci. There is surrounding hyperintense rim representing the "dot in circle" sign. The lesion shows heterogeneous contrast enhancement. There is nodular thickening of the overlying skin and mild T2/STIR hyperintense edema in the subcutaneous and intermuscular planes.
