MRI of the brain shows multiple, discrete, linear flame-shaped , T2/FLAIR hyperintense lesions seen in the periventricular white matter on both sides (right>left). There are T1 hyperintensities in the plaque in the right corona radiata suggestive of a burnt out lesion.
