A 22 year old woman came with pain in abdomen since one month
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen shows both kidneys to be symmetrically and markedly enlarged. Their parenchyma is almost entirely replaced by innumerable, diffusely distributed small cystic lesions of fluid attenuation.
The liver exhibits numerous hypodense cystic lesions throughout both lobes. Several of these cystic areas demonstrate similar attenuation to linearly dilated intrahepatic biliary radicals. These lesions exhibit a small, enhancing central focus— the "central dot" sign. There is atrophy of the right hepatic lobe and compensatory hypertrophy of the left lobe.
