The frontal chest radiograph shows a 3 cm sized , well-defined, thick-walled cavity with an air fluid level in the right mid zone There is 3 cm wide soft shadow in the right supradiaphragmatic region, Plain and contrast enhanced CT scan of the chest shows a fluid density collection with the split pleura sign. This collection shows peripherally enhancing, thickened pleura with fissural extension.
