A 50 year-old man came with diminished vision in the left eye following blunt trauma three years ago. Visual acuity was reduced to light perception in the left eye.

B-mode ultrasonography of the left eye shows subcapsular echogenicities in the lens. A bright, continuous funnel shaped membrane is noted in the posterior segment. This is attached at the optic disc. There are well- defined anechoic cysts along the posterior aspect of this membrane.
