A 28 year old man came with a swelling over the left side of the upper lip since two years. There was history of trauma to the upper lip by a cricket ball three years ago.
The swelling was warm, nontender and pulsatile.
MRI of the maxillofacial region shows a T1 hypointense, intensely enhancing soft tissue lesion measuring about 2 cm. in size in the upper lip on left side of the midline. Multiple T2 hypointense flow voids are seen in the lesion. There is no local infiltration or deeper extension. The facial arteriogram confirms the diagnosis of a slow flow arteriovenous lesion
