A one-month-old baby was brought with inability to open the left eye since birth
A one-month-old baby was brought with inability to open the left eye since birth
B-mode ultrasonography of the left eye shows heterogeneously hyperechoic fatty tissue in the left orbit. A small, globe-like structure enclosing a hyperechoic lens-like structure is also seen. The axial length is smaller than the that in the right globe. The anterior chamber is poorly developed.
