A 52 year old woman came with productive cough, breathlessness and fever since one month
The frontal chest radiograph shows patchy soft tissue opacities in both the mid and lower zones- predominantly in the right lower lobe. The right costophrenic angle and the right hemidiaphragm are obscured. The cardiac shadow is normal.
The contrast enhanced CT scan of the chest shows a few well-defined heterogeneously hypo to isodense areas in the right lower lobe and left upper lobe with subtle air bronchograms. There is no bronchial cut-off. On post-contrast images, these areas show heterogeneous peripheral enhancement with non enhancing areas centrally,
