The right kidney is not seen in the right renal fossa or in any ectopic location. A well-defined hypodense cystic lesion with interrupted peripheral calcifications is seen in the rectovesical pouch. A tubular dilated structure is seen extending from this cyst into the abdomen superiorly, ending abruptly at the level of the sacral promontory, indicative of an atretic right ureter.
