Antenatally, during the third trimester, this seven day old neonate had been diagnosed with cardiac rhabdomyomas. At birth, a few oval, raised, pigmented patches were noted over the back and trunk. Tuberous sclerosis was suspected and an MRI of the brain was performed.

Postnatal echocardiogram
T1, FS, post contrast and T2 flair images show hyperintense, hyperenhancing nodules along the walls of both the lateral ventricles suggestive of subependymal nodules. In addition, a few subcortical hyperenhancing nodules with radial migration lines are seen.
