A 14-year-old boy, known to have a seizure disorder, was brought with two episodes of generalised tonic clonic seizures. He had history of febrile seizures at five years of age with left sided weakness that had resolved except for distal weakness. The boy showed poor scholastic performance.
MRI of the pituitary shows the posterior pituitary bright spot at the hypothalamic floor and not in the sella. The anterior pituitary shows concavity directed superiorly and measures ~2 mm in height. The pituitary stalk is in the centre, however, it appears thinned out and incomplete. The optic chiasma is normal and undisplaced.
