A six month old child was brought by his parents with complaints of fever and altered sensorium since five days. Serum electrolytes and CBC were within normal range. There were no signs of meningeal irritation.

The CT scan of the brain shows widening of both frontal, both temporal and anterior interhemispheric CSF spaces with normal underlying sulci, gyri and ventricular system.
