A 48 year old woman came with the complaints of dysphagia and foreign body sensation in the throat one day following the ingestion of fish.
The lateral and oblique radiographs of the neck show a faint radiopacity in the prevertebral region at C4-C5 levels.The prevertebral soft tissue space is widened The sagittal reformatted image of the CT scan shows a 3 cm long linear hyperdense shadow in the prevertebral region consistent with a fishbone.
