A 14 year old boy came with complaints of fever with chills, pain and swelling around the forearm since two weeks
The radiograph of the right forearm of an immature skeleton shows an ill defined osteolytic area in the distal shaft of radius . It has a wide zone of transition.There is adjacent cortical thickening with periosteal reaction with mild soft tissue swelling. T1 and T2 weighted images of the MRI show altered marrow signal in the mid diaphysis of the radius with a central necrotic, non enhancing area in the intramedullary and intracortical regions. There is multi laminated periosteal reaction with marrow and soft tissue edema
