A 53 year old woman presented with insidious onset pain in the right wrist, predominantly along the palmar aspect since four years. She gave no history of trauma to the wrist.
The frontal radiograph of the right wrist joint shows increased radiodensity of the lunate with volume loss. The T1 coronal MRI sequence shows a collapsed lunate with low intensity signal from it. The T2 sagittal sequence shows high intensity signal arising from it.
