Fig 1
Non-contrast enhanced CT scan of the brain shows linear hyperdensities along the sulcal spaces of the left fronto-parietal region suggestive of subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Fig 2
MRI Brain- FLAIR hyperintensities noted along the sulcal spaces in the left fronto-parietal convexity.
Fig 3, 4
DWI and ADC sequences show few patchy areas of diffusion restriction in the left high parietal cortex suggestive of acute infarcts.
Fig 5,6
Catheter Cerebral angiogram. There is diffuse narrowing of the left ICA and near complete occlusion of the intracranial cavernous segment of the left ICA. There is reformation of the left MCA circulation by pial-pial collaterals.
Fig 7,8
Repeat MRI after 12 weeks- FLAIR images show gliosis in the left frontal lobe (fig. 8). SWI images show hemosiderin staining in the left fronto-parietal sulcal spaces, suggestive of chronic subarachnoid hemorrhage.
Fig 9, 10, 11
MRI TOF Angio of the brain after 12 weeks: There is diffuse narrowing of the A1 segment of the left ACA and the M1 and M2 segments of the left MCA.
