Fig A shows a filling defect in the distal body and antrum of stomach. Note that stomach shows normal distensibility and gastric emptying time.
Fig B. and fig C. shows persistent filling defect in the stomach as described in fig A.
Fig D. and fig E shows persistent filling defect in the stomach; retention of barium is noted in the small bowel loops.
Fig. F shows same findings as that of the previous images but in this 24 hour film retention of barium is seen as a well defined smooth mass taking the shape of the stomach and the small bowel loops.
Fig. G and fig. H shows well defined large mottled lesion with air and soft tissue attenuation filling the distal stomach and antrum.
Small bowel loops appear edematous.
