Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen shows asymmetric enlargement of the pancreatic head and uncinate process. These appear bulky, lobulated (measuring about 5.3 cm), are heterogeneously hypoenhancing giving a mass-like appearance. The mass causes smooth tapering of the mid CBD with resultant dilatation of the proximal CBD and the central intrahepatic biliary ducts. The gall bladder is overdistended.
