A 90-year-old-man came with a two month history of hoarseness of voice
The CT scan of the neck and thorax shows abduction of the left vocal cord, The pyriform sinus is mildly widened. The left aryepiglottic fold is displaced medially and thickened. The laryngeal ventricle is widened (sail sign), indicative of paralysis of the left vocal cord . There is a small, partially thrombosed pseudoaneurysm arising anteroinferiorly from the aortic arch that follows the course of the left recurrent laryngeal nerve.
