A woman with 28 weeks' pregnancy came for a routine obstetric scan. She has history of cesarean section.
On ultrasonography, there is loss of placento-myometrial junction at the anteroinferior aspect of the uterus. The placenta is low-lying and covers the internal os completely. There is focal discontinuity in the hyperechoic serosa of the uterus with abnormal perpendicular vessels reaching upto the uterovesical fold - possibly infiltrating the serosa of the urinary bladder.
