A 32-year-old woman came with redness and ptosis of the right eye since one month.
She gave history of diminution of vision in the right eye since eight years.
Axial T1 and T2 weighted sections of the MRI of the brain reveal a large, well defined dural based lesion showing T1-T2 iso-intensity with avid post contrast enhancement. The lesion completely encases the right optic nerve in the intraconal compartment and extends intracranially through the optic canal to be continuous with right planum sphenoidale.
