A 34 year old man came with pain in the abdomen since two months
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen shows herniation of the jejunal loops into the left anterior pararenal space via the fascia of Landzert along with the mesentery and vessels. The inferior mesenteric vein is displaced. There is normal enhancement of the herniated bowel loops without significant dilatation of the proximal bowel loops.

Fascia of Landzert is named after Theodor Bernhard Landzert (1833-1889), a Russian anatomist.
