A 22 year old man came with abdominal pain and bloating since one month.
Frontal chest radiograph shows elevation of the left hemi-diaphragm with an irregular contour. Pulmonary vascular markings are not seen normally on the left side. There are a few air-fluid levels in the left upper quadrant of the abdomen without dilatation of bowel loops.The radiograph of the abdomen shows fluid levels in the proximal small bowel loops. Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen shows herniation of proximal ileal loops into the left hemithorax through a defect in the postero-lateral aspect of the left hemidiaphragm. There dilated loops of jejunum and ileum.
