This stillborn was delivered by a 34 year old G1P1 woman, at 34 weeks of gestation. No antenatal scans were available. The baby had short limbs and a short neck.
Postmortem radiographs show shortened and bowed limbs, severe osteopenia and multiple rib fractures at different stages of healing with few showing callus formation. There is no mineralisation of the skull vault. The thorax is bell shaped.
