A 38 year old man came with a swelling in the left inguinal region and abdominal pain since six months. Serum AFP was normal; beta-HCG was raised.
Contrast enhanced CT scan of the abdomen shows a lobulated, homogeneously enhancing solid lesion in the left inguinal canal at the superficial inguinal ring. There are no areas of necrosis or calcifications. The left testis is not seen in the scrotum. There is a well-defined, lobulated, homogeneously enhancing solid, retroperitoneal lesion in the left anterior paranephric space. The lesion encases the structures at the renal hilum. There is loss of fat planes with the left kidney.
Left high orchidectomy was done. Histopathology reports are awaited.
