A 54 year old woman came with complaints of long-standing dry cough associated with dull chest pain on coughing
The frontal and lateral chest radiographs show retrocardiac scarring. There is a well defined, lobulated soft tissue shadow with specks of in the left lower zone along the middle third of the left dome of diaphragm (lateral view). The CT scan confirms this miss around the gastroesophageal junction straddling the dome of the diaphragm. The barium study shows opening out and effacement of the mucosa at the gastroesophageal junction by the surrounding soft tissue mass.
