On gray scale ultrasonography, there is ostial narrowing of the celiac artery with post stenotic dilatation. On color Doppler examination, the resting PSV of the celiac artery is 172 cm/sec which rises above 200 cm/sec on expiration. In the sitting position, there is a fall in the celiac artery PSV from 200 cm/sec to 99 cm/sec.
