A 30 year old woman came with the complaint of pain in the occipital region and neck since two weeks. Examination of the optic fundus showed papilledema.
On MRI, there is a well-defined T2 hyperintense , T1/FLAIR hypointense intra-axial cystic lesion approximately 4 cm in diameter in the right cerebellar hemisphere with perilesional edema. The lesion shows no susceptibility or diffusion restriction. On post contrast sequence, there is enhancement along the periphery of the lesion, There are few enhancing septations within the cystic space. . There is effacement of the ipsilateral cerebellar folia and compression of the pons and midbrain.
