The radiograph of the right forearm of a radiologically immature skeleton shows an ill-defined area of mottled osteolysis in the distal half of the radius. It has a wide zone of transition. There is adjacent cortical thickening with periosteal reaction. There is mild soft tissue swelling. MRI shows altered marrow signal intensity in the mid diaphysis with central necrotic, non enhancing area in the intramedullary and intracortical regions. There is multi-laminated periosteal reaction with marrow and soft tissue edema
