The frontal chest radiograph shows a right side aortic arch (trachea deviated to the left). The esophagogram shows an esophagus dilated in its entirety with smooth tapering narrowing at the gastroesophageal junction. There is a well defined, smooth, external impression on the right posterolateral wall of the thoracic esophagus. Contrast enhanced CT scan of the chest confirms the findings on the esophagogram with a right sided aortic arch and a dilated esophagus.
