Transvaginal ultrasonography shows a single intrauterine gestation. No skull vault is seen. The brain parenchyma herniates above the orbits into the amniotic cavity. In the coronal plane, a ‘Frog eye’ appearance is seen due to the absence of the cranial bones & the bulging orbits.
